    MEET SAKZAYN: FUTASU VICE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE
                        

 The Futasu election is fast approaching and as such most contestants have intensified their campaigns. While previous elections have seen some candidates emerge only to get in power and do nothing, students need to be careful in choosing who the next set of leaders will be.

Inside FUTA has sought to familiarize the student populace with the various aspirants holding exclusive interviews with all aspirants. In this exclusive with Saka Zainab fondly called "Sakzayn" by peers, she talks about her ambition and what she hopes to achieve if given the chance to serve, below are the excerpts.
 Inside FUTA: Can we meet you?
Sakzayn: I'm Saka Zaynab 300 level Surveying and Geo-informatics department
Inside FUTA: Why did you opt to run for this vice presidential position?
Sakzayn: The main course is to bring out the potentials in students and celebrate the academic performance of students which I realize no vice president has ever done since I've been in Futa.
Inside FUTA: You will be contesting against other aspirants for this apex post,do you think you stand a chance?
Sakzayn: Yes because I believe no dream is late to achieve
Inside FUTA: What are your vision(s)?
Sakzayn: Firstly, bringing out the potentials in student. What do I mean?
There are many platform in which people showcase their talent by singing, dancing, rap and the likes but what I intend to do is some talents like writing, talking and the likes.
 So I will create a platform whereby people can showcase not just talents that go with social aspect alone but like the academic aspect also.
People can also come there to learn from this platform , like people that love to write can come and the likes to learn.
Secondly, I want to create an app in which past questions will be on it, So student can prepare well for exam.
Inside FUTA: Any plans to do things differently from this administration possibly new agendas or scrapping any on ground?

Sakzayn: I don't want to talk about this administration, but I know I will turn things around, I want to create a committee of vice president In which student from each department can lodge complaints to their own vice president.

Through their vice president, I will be able to get in touch.

You know not all students can come to SUB to lodge complaints

But through this committee I can be able to achieve this.

Sakzayn: I urge them to support my vision by helping me to achieve my dream

The criteria for voting is the students ID card at the #DRC Obanla (Computer Science Lab) on Wednesday, April 5th, 2017.
